Steps in Using Us as Your Stuffed Toy Manufacturer

The main steps are ;

1 - Gather your ideas
You will need to have a good idea of what you require for your project. These are some of the questions we will need to have answered to continue with a quotation.

• approximate quantity (500, 5000, 50,000 pieces ?)

• the bulk, or volume of the toy
  ( skinny, medium, or round and fat)

2 - Get a Quotation
If you have your idea narrowed down somewhat then use our online quotation request form. Our Online form will send you a quote instantly based on the above information. Due to the high call volumes we experience, getting your quote online is the quickest way. When you choose to work with us, we will give you a special Toll Free Hotline that gets you in touch with your own Dedicated Project Manager.

3 - Order a Prototype
Binkley can create a prototype that will be very close to your idea. There may be some limitations, since price, safety, and available materials all play a role in the final outcome. Your product will truly be one of a kind though. We normally recommend that you allow our professional designers to recommend the best materials and colors to create your product, based on your ideas and input.

4 - Approve the Prototype
Assuming there are no changes to your prototype, you will approve the prototype and we can move ahead into your production run. You choose the quantity level that works for you. Most of our contracts, are able to go ahead after the first prototype, or we can always show you the changes, in a production sample. This saves you time and money which is why we work so hard on gathering all information up front. 

When you start to show your new prototype around you will see the excitement it can generate.  If needed we can make minor changes to your prototype with a computer photo edit. We will show you a side by side photo of how your prototype looked, and how your changes will be reflected in a final product. A physical sample can be sent to you showing you the changes, when we go in to production. This service is free of charge*. All of our Service Levels, have $300 of your deposit applied 100% towards your production run. This is all explained in the free quote, through our website.

*please note - Your prototype deposit gets you one prototype, and then we will show you prototype changes in a photo edit. If you require additional prototypes to show changes, then additional costs will apply. You should consider an intitial order of 500 - 1,200 pieces as a sample order and subsequent orders can include new changes.Alternatively, Binkley can help you develop product ideas through various stages of prototypes. This means that we will incorporate new design ideas in progressive stages of the prototype. Adding new ideas  to the second, third and further generations, virtually 'grows' your initial idea into a highly marketable product. The development of a product in this way will be billed in separate stages and is not included in our average quote.

5 - Safety testing
With government regulations becoming more and more strict is important for your toys to be safe. I will see to it that your toys are safety tested and surpass all international standards. All regulations will be met and documented.

6 -Production
If there were no changes going in to production, we will simply keep you up to date as your materials come in to the factory, production is completed, and we are shipping out your goods. This part can be the hardest for you. This is when you just have to wait. If you like, give us a call for an update on how we are doing. If you did have changes going in to production, we will send you a production sample, which is the first toy off the line. We will get your approval before completing production so you will know exactly what you are getting. The majority our contracts are delivered on or before the proposed delivery date. Binkley prepares your project to ship to your chosen destination(s). We work hard to deliver your product on time and on budget. We will disclose all costs in stages #2 and #3 so that there are no surprises at the Shipping stage.

7 - Shipping
Please know that we do everything to keep this part simple. We use the top logistics companies in the world to move your product safely, quickly and affordably.
